SNAPmobile: use your office phone on your cell

SNAPmobile turns your cell phone into your office phone. You can make, receive and transfer calls with your business number, and send texts if texting is included in your service. Setup takes about 5 to 10 minutes.

Step 1: Create your password

You'll get an email from info@pmxtech.co with a subject like "Welcome to PMX Technology Solutions". It's an automated message from the phone system, not an ad or a bill.

  1. Open the email. It has your login information and extension number.
  2. Click Complete Setup.
  3. On the page that opens, create your password.

Save this password. You'll use it to log in to the app and the phone portal.

The setup link expires after 7 days

If it has expired, contact PMX and we'll send a new one.

Step 2: Install the app

Install the app and open it.

Step 3: Enter the provider code

The first time the app opens, it asks for a code (sometimes called ID Host). Enter:

Step 4: Log in

  • Login Name: provided by PMX
  • Password: the one you created in step 1

Tap Log In.

Step 5: Allow permissions

Very important

If you don't allow these, calls won't ring on your phone.

When your phone asks, tap Allow for:

  • Notifications
  • Microphone
  • Incoming calls (sometimes shown as Allow Calls)

Step 6: Test it

  1. In SNAPmobile, call your office's main number or another extension.
  2. Ask a coworker to call your extension to make sure it rings.

If it rings and you can hear each other, you're all set.
